The Tower by Rebeca Bashly

Each month a new artist is granted a full sim as part of the Linden Endowment for the Arts’ (LEA) Full Sim Art Series. In December 2012, Rebeca Bashly took the sim that sent visitors a dark and mysterious journey through a range of figures breaking their bonds and evolving through a series of powerful and evocative vignettes. Rebeca’s works often have this dark, mysterious and some may say sinister elements as those who may have visited her previous installations such as “Inferno” can attest. This was a nine-level adaptation of Dante’s Inferno.

A selection of images from “Inferno” are displayed below with a larger collection available on Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/pj_trenton/sets/72157627891596187/.
